By Ken Levine: Next?!

Ken Levine, Emmy-winning television writer, baseball announcer and all around funny guy (really, I had lunch with him, he cracks me up) has a great post up today on his blog.

I’ve saved all my rejection letters and wouldn’t you know, a number of the writers who initially said I sucked eventually submitted scripts to me looking for a job years later.

It’s about writer rejection, called Next?! and I think y’all newbies should take a look at.

My favorite story? Ken once got feedback on a screenplay from a studio executive, which was thus:

“The writing was so good it almost fooled me into liking this script!”

Riiiight, the good writing should never be a factor into a liking a script.

Thanks Ken!
