Tami
Fuck me. Okay, enough of this shit. If I wanted to do this much cardiac damage to myself, I would have gone back to snorting coke.

Here's a list of random and probably useless trivia about Joshua James, his likes, dislikes, embarrassing intimate details and whatnot. And some of it may even be true.

Joshua has two tattoos, one on each bicep, tattoos that combine Japanese and Chinese symbols in an original design which carry special meaning for him.

Joshua once lived in a boarding house with seven Irishmen in Woodside, Queens, which he found to be quite the invigorating experience and was a significant influence on his play TALLBOY WALKIN'.

Joshua is addicted to iced tea and not that Snapple aberration, which he cannot stand, but fresh-brewed and unsweetened iced tea, he’s been known to drink almost a gallon of it in a day.

Joshua has never had any formal training as a writer, though he was fortunate to have worked with and been influenced by playwright Naomi Wallace, who edited early drafts his first two plays THE MEN’S ROOM and RUNNING IN PLACE.

As an actor, Joshua was trained in Meisner by Trish Hawkins and in Grotowsky by Eric Forsythe. He was also fortunate enough to study Viewpoints with Anne Bogart.

Joshua was employed as a bouncer at a pool hall called The Que in Iowa City as a way of working his way through graduate school, for a grand total of three-fifty-five an hour. One night Joshua took away a loaded twelve-gauge shotgun away from an angry drunk who was pointing it at him and decided, that very night, that perhaps working as a short order cook might be a bit safer for the money. He was promoted to short order cook the next day.

Joshua drove to New York from Iowa, when he moved, and it took him a total of twenty-five hours (he got a little lost around Newark) to get there.

Joshua has studied different martial arts for many years, beginning with Shorein Ryu Karate when he was thirteen. He later received a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and later taught it in Iowa and Nebraska, competing regularly in full contact tournaments up until he went to graduate school. Joshua trained in Judo and Kung Fu at different times in his life, and spent most of 2003 doing a lot of Muay Thai Kickboxing. He's been knocked unconcious a total of five times (at least, that's what he remembers now) during training. Joshua also collects books on Martial Arts and hopes to continue training in different styles and disciplines in the future if his schedule allows.

Growing up in rural Iowa, Joshua is of course familiar with cow-tipping. Joshua was also employed as a de-tasseler and a bean-walker as a teen-ager. Do you know what those jobs entail?

Joshua has a yen for almost all things Japanese, but there is also one thing about Japan that Joshua treasures more than any other. Do you know what that is? There is also one thing about Japan that he cannot stand. Do you know what that is?

Joshua has a scar on the inside of his left forearm that is a memento from a domestic rabbit bite that he received when he was twelve.

One of Joshua’s early jobs in New York City was as a vet tech in different animal hospitals around Manhattan. Joshua is that rare person who is not a dog-person or a cat-person, but a dog-and-cat-person. In other words, when it comes to domestic pets, Joshua goes both ways.

Joshua grew up in a very small town in Iowa, the name of which he avoids saying if he can. His graduating high school class numbered a total of seventeen students. That's right, seventeen.

Like Spider-Man and The Green Hornet, Joshua has a secret identity that is known only to a select few, though he doesn't have a super cool car like those guys and he doesn't live in a cave anymore. But he still has the secret identity.
